Samsung TV Subtitles

Hello,
I activated the subtitles on my Samsung TV the day before yesterday to watch a movie in original version on Arte, and now when I want to disable them, the "OFF" option no longer appears in the submenus, whether using the TOOLS or SUBTL button; I can only see "ACTIVE," and nothing else is accessible using the navigation arrows in any direction..
I searched the internet, but apart from the maneuvers I already know by heart, nothing new for now..
So I'm stuck with subtitles on all the other channels too, some right in the middle of the screen, and I can't find any submenu that opens the "OFF" option for the subtitle function.
If anyone has an idea, I'd be happy to hear it.....

Actually, it's me again.... I finally found it:
Menu > Broadcast > go into Broadcast and scroll all the way down (down arrow) and at the end Subtitles appears which is not visible at first if you don't scroll through the entire submenu...
Press > Then the options ENABLE or OFF appear, your choice.
I have a Samsung UE28H4000. The other one is a UE32 that is over 10 years old, and the Menu button doesn't offer the same sub-menus, so I can't guarantee that it works on all Samsungs, but if it can help some people, great...
