Hello everyone,
I would like to record a video with subtitles using VLC.
I go to convert, then I add the video and the srt file that both have the same name except for the extension, then I select convert, save, and destination file, but when I click on start, nothing happens. What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

After adding the video and the srt file, I clicked on play (instead of convert), I recorded the video during playback and in the end, it is well subtitled. I did quite a bit of research on this topic but I didn't find this solution anywhere...

Hello, could you please explain in detail how you did it? I have the same problem but I don't see how to apply your solution.
      Thank you.

      Hello,
I hadn't seen your question in my inbox otherwise I would have replied, so in case your question is still relevant, on VLC:
      media + convert/save
      add video + srt file
to the right of convert/save (at the bottom) click on play + the red button that will record the video with the subtitles
I tried it again and it works well like that.
