Hello,

I need a better connection to do video calls on Skype or Zoom. I have a new Acer Swift 3 laptop, and I bought an adapter for the Ethernet cable since there's no Ethernet port on the laptop. I plug it in, the lights on the box port are on, so I conclude that the cable is functional. I've tried all the ports on the box and all the USB ports on the computer: no connection. I've tried looking on the computer, but it doesn't seem to detect the wired connection... help, thank you for reading.

Configuration: Android / SamsungBrowser 10.2

    Uninstall Generic USB Hub
Restart the PC and see what happens with the adapter.

So I didn't uninstall the generic USB hub because it's good, it's working now. Do I still need to uninstall it?
      Thank you so much!!
Just to make sure I understand: was it my connector that wasn't detected?
Thank you for your time!! I'm very grateful to you!

        No.

It's my connector that wasn't detected

Possibly, but it was resolved after adding 3 devices.

        Have a good day.
