Difference between SDRAM and SODIMM

Hello,

My computer is equipped with 2 RAM sticks of 4 GB of DDR4 SDRAM type. I can't find this type of RAM on the Internet, only SODIMM RAM. I would like to know what the difference is between DDR4 SDRAM and DDR4 SODIMM RAM that I find online.

    DDR4 SDRAM is the most common RAM. Simply put, the SDRAM part is omitted in the specifications. We just mention DDR4 frequency. For example, DDR4 24000MHz.

    Finally, the slot type indication. DIMM for the format of desktop RAM and SO-DIMM for the smaller formats generally intended for laptops.
