If the document scan worked properly, it should be somewhere on the PC. By default, the destination for the scan in the scanner settings is set to "Images". If the destination is elsewhere and you don't know where, open "This PC" and type the name of the folder in the search bar at the top right. Allow the search to complete (unless the file appears before that).

The problem is not with the display in My Image Garden.
It is especially important to know whether the scanning was done correctly. Are there any error messages?

Normally the scanned document is saved in My Documents (sort by date to check that it is there).

Now, regarding the display in My Image Garden, there is a setting to be made:
In the Start menu, go to Canon Utilities and from the list click on IJ Scan Utility.

In the small window that opens, click on Settings:

In the next window, check "Open with an application" and select My Image Garden. Do the same for all types of scanning (left column) and confirm by clicking OK.

Hello Pierr 10, I have the scanned documents in My Documents and I have checked the settings which are as you indicated. The scanning is done correctly, no error message, but the result of the scanning does not appear in My Image Garden when I open it on the monitor.

I own the Canon TR 7550 printer and when scanning via the printer (and not online), whether it’s an image or a document, the destination is indeed set to "images" by default. Unless that destination has been changed.
