Hello everyone!
Why does the dialog box "Scanning to PC is currently unavailable" appear when I open the PC?
And especially why "currently unavailable" when scanning poses no problem?
Thank you for your help!

    Hello scottie52,

What is the full name of your printer?

    HP printers are often affected.

    1- What is your antivirus?
If you have Avast, it sometimes causes issues with the firewall (Conflicts)
The best option is to uninstall it with its utility avastclear
It takes less than 10 minutes.
After rebooting your PC, leave a comment in your next message to let us know if you still see this dialog box.

2- Check if scanning to the computer is enabled:
Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
Open the software by double-clicking on the printer icon
    - You can also go through the Start button then Devices and Printers
    Tutorial here
Click on Manage Scanning to Computer.
If you see the message Scanning to Computer disabled at the top of the window, click on the Enable button.

3- Reinstalling the printer might solve the problem.

    See you later

      Hello Pistouri, I'm back!

      Printer: HP Envy 4520 series

      Antivirus: Avira Prime

Scanning works without any issues, so why does a dialog box saying "scanning to computer currently unavailable" appear at startup?

It's not a big deal for me since I can uncheck it, but I'd like to understand!
I unchecked HP printer at startup in CCleaner, but it didn't work.

I ran the scan doctor, no problem.

      Thanks for your help!
