Hello,

I'm asking my question again since my contact has not responded for several days...
See my previous post, the scanner of my printer is not working despite reinstalling the printer, which is the only one installed and visible on my PC. I have already looked for the driver, it didn't change anything...
The name of the printer in Windows 10 is as follows:
"Scan only - HP 4500 Series (network) - DO NOT DELETE"
I would like to point out that printing and copying works fine.
Could you help me please?

    Hello,
    Despite the fact that the issue is marked as resolved!
    A complete suite of drivers/software exists for this printer, including the scanner, EN4500_198.exe
    .
    If you decide to proceed with the installation, I recommend first removing everything related to the printer from the PC, it should no longer exist, IMPORTANT.
    Then disconnect it from the computer and restart it.
    Install the suite, connect the printer when prompted, and it should work.

    Does this problem occur when you try to scan using the button on the screen?
    If so, do as I do: try putting the shortcut to the application (hpscan) in your taskbar, and try from there without going through the printer's screen
    on W10: "This PC" -> Program Files x86 -> HP -> HP Envy 4500 series -> bin -> hp scan (application) right-click -> Pin to taskbar
    from W7 or 8: "Computer" -> Progs x86........

      surprise: the scan is working again with the scanner software. In JPEG but not in PDF. So I'm converting with PDF Creator...
      I don't know why it's working again...

    Thank you for your responsiveness.
    The printer hasn't been working for a long time because my computer isn't recognized...
    From the PC, I was using Microsoft Scanner and it was working well until recently. It can no longer find the scanner...
    I recently downloaded the all-in-one driver, the 110MB one from the HP website.
    Scanning still doesn't work with Scanner.
    I can't find HP Scan... do you have a download link?
