HP DeskJet 3639 Solved

Question

Hello, I have a rather unusual comprehension issue, let me describe it as "best" as possible.... This NEW printer works perfectly at my place on several different machines, without any installation or usage problems, whether on XP or Seven.... However, it is at a friend's who wants to use it on an older XP, obviously, but still fully functional... and there is no way (as we say in Provence!) : everything goes wonderfully for the installation, whether via WIFI or USB and, during the printing of anything, the machine says it is sending the document.. (nice!) BUT nothing arrives on the HP!!!!!!!!! On the other hand, it prints without any problem with her laptop...... I don’t know where to look, and if anyone knows what I could try, it would be nice to let me BENEFIT from it! In any case, thank you for your response.... Hello....  I'm coming back "to the charge"....;=) In the end, if it can "pinpoint" the problem: the old printer was a Canon, and the problem was the same, to the point that she changed it and it works perfectly for the person she gave it to... Well... I don't see the point since it's WXP that seems to... She managed, after the restoration, to get an old one working... now, she's reinstalling the new one with the CD, we'll see... @+   -- "He who wants to climb a mountain starts from the bottom!"
