Hello,
I am using Windows 10, I scanned a document yesterday with my HP Helpdesk 3630 printer, everything was perfect. Today, after restarting my PC, the scanning function is inaccessible (printing is fine though).
The problem exists both on Wi-Fi and with USB cable.
I reinstalled the latest printing and scanning software downloaded from the HP website, but to no avail.
The scanning software does not start.
I also tried after uninstalling the antivirus, but no luck.
I went to HP support, but found no solution.

I don’t know what to do anymore... except buy a printer from another brand.
Thanks, if you have any troubleshooting ideas...

    Hello,

    Download Vuescan (free version).
In principle, Vuescan automatically recognizes all scanners.
If Vuescan does not recognize it = connection or hardware problem.
If Vuescan recognizes it, perform a scan with Vuescan and, at the same time, perform a scan with the usual software.

      Hello

For your information, the software is not free; the installation is, but when you print, you see their encouragement to purchase the software right in the middle of the scan printout.

Maybe there is another trick to avoid seeing this text in the middle...

      Best regards
