Hello
My Brother DCP 195c printer is no longer appearing in the control panel. There are no issues in the device manager. The drivers are up to date; I downloaded the Windows 10 package. It’s working properly for now! But since it's no longer recognized (recently), it might also stop working. What do you think?

    Hello.....

    If it helps, I just noticed that it's the same for me with a Brother MFC J615W printer on Windows 10
    Everything works well but no more icon in the control panel?
    I will look into it further and keep you updated...

    Edit ► I found the solution... You need to reinstall the driver or update it, and the printer icon comes back...

    1-Control Panel
    2-Devices and Printers
    3-Add a printer (2nd line from the top right)
    4-Click on "The printer I want isn't listed"
    5-Check the last small box at the bottom >> Next
    6-Keep the top box checked >> Next
    7-Click on Windows Update >> Let the machine search for compatible printers
    8-In the window that opens >> Left Column >> Look for Brother >>>> in the right column scroll down to Brother DCP 195 C >> Next

    The system will ask if you want to update the driver ► Yes... You close the control panel and then open it again and the printer is back
