Hello everyone,
Having discovered that all my passwords were visible through PC Privacy Protect, I am trying to install "psi3.secunia.com" in vain. After downloading, I request immediate launch and receive the following response:
"Unable to retrieve the PSI user ID from Secunia.
Please check ....................."
I have repeated the procedure many times and always get the same response!!??

What is the solution??

Thank you in advance for your help

    Hello,

    Maybe Revo Uninstaller can help.

And to check your computer for any infections and get a general status of the system:

Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking on this blue link. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).

Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the scan to finish, a message indicating that the analysis is complete will appear.

Three FRST reports will be generated:
    • FRST.txt
    • Shortcut.
    • Additional.txt

Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and return the 3 pjjoint links that lead to the reports here in a new reply so that we can review them.

(The blue links lead to step-by-step explanatory tutorials, click on them for more precise instructions to follow).

    It seems correct.
You might want to remove: C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom

You have programs that were installed when you bought the computer or installed later that are not necessarily useful.
They clutter Windows and can slow it down.
    You can therefore uninstall them.
    Go to the Control Panel
    then Programs and Features.
    Uninstall:

    CCleaner
    CyberLink
    Orange Installer

PS: CCleaner is not really useful, even though it's recommended everywhere.
If you want to keep it, disable CCleaner's monitoring, which is unnecessary, it starts up with Windows and slows it down with its incessant cleanups, see: https://www.malekal.com/supprimer-ccleaner-demarrage-windows/

Ok, I just uninstalled the three programs, but now I don't have any antivirus ??
And for C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom, what should I do ??
      I have never done this!!

      Thank you

      Hello,
I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but life is not "a long calm river," as everyone knows!!
      Okay, I won't touch C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom

But right now, I am WITHOUT an anti virus, so ..............???
On the other hand, you tell me to read: "phone support scams," well, but still, am I doing nothing to prevent anyone from using "Privacy.......... " to know my passwords???
      Thank you for reassuring me!!
      Best regards

P.S. - I found IT support through "Supportnex" for the price of 199,- euros/year, after tough negotiations; do you know it, and if so, what do you think??
