Hello to all the IT guys,
I have (yet again) a problem, here it is, I own an Asus X75V
And in this famous Asus, there are 4GB of RAM (DDR3) but I have an additional 4GB stick and it refuses to accept it. When I turn it on, nothing happens.
So that's it.
Thanks to everyone who is willing to help me.

Good evening.
Is it a new or second-hand clip?

Before buying it, did you check the compatibility of your RAM with your PC?????

Yes, it's new and I bought it at Cybertech, so there you go. But the thing is, I picked up the PC and it was inside before, but while cleaning the dust I removed it, and since then it refuses it.

Good evening FireToG2.0,

What is the full reference of your ASUS X75V computer?

Are you on 32 bits or 64 bits? If you are on 32 bits, that is perfectly normal as it will not take more than 4 GB.

Have you checked the compatibility of your RAM with your computer? Shouldn't you need a DDR3L?

Is your RAM recognized in the BIOS?

Please provide me with the full reference of your original RAM and the one you purchased.

Best regards,
ChariduP - Have a nice day :)

Indeed, it is possible that the BIOS does not recognize your RAM.

So it's an Asus X75VD-TY139H but the thing is there is only one free slot, the other 4GB is soldered to the PC.
It's impossible to access the BIOS since with the second RAM stick the screen doesn't turn on and nothing works.
It runs on 64Bits so no worries there.
The RAM stick is a Kingston KVR16S11S8/4 in DDR3
Thanks for helping me anyway.

Are you sure you inserted it properly and heard the sound?

I just had a go at it (I had some) but no change anyway.

Well, listen, I'll keep it simple. I’ve tried a lot of things (updating BIOS, clearing CMOS), so I’m giving up.
So, problem solved
Thank you all for your help.
