No internet connection on my Toshiba SMART TV

Hello,

For several months, I haven't been able to get internet on my Toshiba SMART TV, even though it worked perfectly at the beginning. I do have internet on my computer, but then, all of a sudden, nothing works.

I have no knowledge of computers, I quickly get lost, and I don't know what to do.

When I go into the TV settings, under "network/internet settings", I see this:

Network type: Wireless device
Press WPS on WiFi router: Ok (when I click on it, there's a long search, then no change)
Speed test: Ok (when I click, it says no internet, check your connection etc.)
Advanced settings: Ok (I can't select "Ok" with my remote, nothing works, so I have no access to advanced settings, which is ridiculous)

Further down: Not connected

Since I've had WiFi/internet cut-off problems with Bouygues, I'm sure there's been an issue with the BBOX that can’t connect my TV via WiFi, but Bouygues assures me it's not the BBOX.

How can I restore internet? Normally in the settings, I enter a code, select my WiFi from the list, etc., but I no longer have access now, as if it had magically disappeared!!! The TV is still under warranty, and I'm considering returning it altogether.

Hello Karev2017,

Simply plug in an Ethernet cable connecting your Internet box to your SmartTV.

You will be connected automatically.

You need to provide us with the model of your Toshiba SmartTV so that we can better assist you if a wireless connection suits you.
