Hello,

I have an ASUS laptop.

For the past 2 days, I've been occasionally encountering a freeze on a BIOS screen during startup with the following message:

"check system power error please plug in ac adapter"

When I restart, I generally no longer see the message.

Can you please help me?

My girlfriend and I both have different Asus laptop models and we both have exactly the same problem since the last update made the day before yesterday.

Same problem again, while I just bought my computer I was scared, I am "reassured" that we all have the same issue.

Same here. It shows that I have my charger connected even when it's not plugged in.

If anyone has a solution...

Same problem here for the past few days. It only happens when I restart. If I close the laptop and open it again, there’s no issue. However, when I restart, the window appears and I can’t click on anything. I have to force shut down my laptop.

Comment force the computer to shut down? I tried pressing the start button for 30 seconds and it failed, then 1 minute, still no success. I tried alt, ctrl, and delete. Nothing worked. My computer is stuck on the same page as everyone else. Nothing is moving... what to do?

I have exactly the same problem for several days, it's quite worrying knowing that my Asus computer is brand new. But it's somewhat reassuring that there are so many of us. Have you found a solution or should we just wait for the next update?

Good evening, I also have this problem. I unlocked the numeric keypad, but according to my brother, it seems that one of the keys or the shift key is acting up. I also think it might be due to a faulty update... I'm looking for solutions, but so far nothing... Maybe checking the ASUS website to mention it?
I remember watching streaming anime, charged the battery twice, and that the laptop has been lagging for a few days before this incident.

If anyone has a solution, please share. Thank you.

`I have exactly the same problem... What should we do then? Wait for their updates? And how to stop forcing it to shut down? It's only a few weeks old, I don't want to kill it by forcing it to shut down every day :( thank you very much`
