I am unable to receive television, even though the satellite dish is correctly aligned.

You write, "if your access rights are valid until 2018..."
How can we find out?

    if you are on Astra with a regular (purchased) decoder, you have a satellite access card that expires approximately every 4 years, and you need to buy another one.
