Black screen after changing the panel :(

Hello, I'm not in the habit of asking for help on forums, but I must admit that I'm lost.
After accidentally cracking my laptop screen, I ordered a new panel to fix it. But after installation: black screen. I thought the panel was dead, so I ordered a new one (60€ after all). I want to point out that the references are indeed the same.
So I reinstall it and the same problem occurs, black screen. I order a third one and still the same issue.
I then think that the problem is not with the panel but with my computer (which still works with the old panel). While looking on the forums, I discovered that I wasn't the only one to have this problem, and then I found out that by turning on my PC with the old panel and plugging in the new one once it was on, it worked. But when I turn off the computer and turn it back on, it's the same thing: the screen lights up but stays black. I think the issue might be with the graphics card resolution. Can you please help me, it's urgent. Best regards.
PS: Sorry for any occasional spelling mistakes.

Good evening, what is the model of the laptop in question? And what is the reference of the display? This could help to better understand your problem.
Thank you in advance for the details.

My PC is an ASUS R511L running Windows 10 and the display reference is: B156XTN04.2

If it works after starting with the old panel and then switching to the new panel hot, I don't think it's a resolution issue. But just to be sure, start with the old panel, install the new one, and switch to a lower resolution? Then instead of shutting down the computer, just restart it to see if the display still works with the new panel after changing the resolution.

I've listened to your advice, but it's still the same problem: black screen at startup...

Hi,
Have you tried a simple clear cmos?
And if I understand correctly, you have 3 new panels at home?

Hi, first of all I'm not responding with the right account but it's definitely XerOce speaking. I don't know what a clear CMOS is, can you tell me more about it? Otherwise, I sent the previous panels back to the seller..

A clear CMOS is used to clear the settings stored in the NVRAM (in other words, the BIOS settings). The PC will lose its current configurations and load the factory defaults.

First, unplug your PC and make sure you have no external monitor connected, only the new built-in screen.
Inside the PC, you should see a CR2032 battery somewhere. This is what holds the settings; it corresponds to this:

There may be variations depending on the motherboard, but it's generally a battery of this type. If it's connected to a connector, you can remove it (even if it's not the correct component, removing a connector and putting it back later cannot pose any risk).

You need to remove the battery from the PC. Once you’ve taken it out for about 2 minutes, put it back in its place and restart the PC.
