Unwanted ads on Android smartphone.

Solved

Hello,

I've been bothered for several days by ads that pop up no matter which app I'm using (sometimes I'm texting, sometimes I'm browsing the web, sometimes I'm on Facebook, etc.).

When I press the button at the bottom left to see all the open apps, I see the title of the app that would potentially be "Advertisement," but no app is named that in my list... (see image) So I don't know where the problem comes from, and I've uninstalled the last downloaded apps, and nothing changes.

I also downloaded CCleaner and have free Avast installed: nothing is detected despite the scans.

I'm going crazy; it’s extremely frequent!!!

Can someone help me?

Have a nice day, and thank you in advance.

Configuration: Android / SamsungBrowser 8.2

Hello,
Delete Chrome data by visiting this page.
You can also delete Chrome data through the settings on your phone, then Apps ==> Google Chrome ==> Storage ==> Clear data.
Try this app, it detects all the applications that send push notifications that flood your smartphone with ads, allowing you to identify the culprits. Then finish by scanning with MBAM.

EDIT:
For anyone asking me how to use Addons Detector, here’s a quick tutorial:

Then:

Click on extensions to display them, then click on the small arrow to sort them by categories.

Just click on the different categories present to see which ones send push notifications or ads, it's as easy as pie.

I believe I have solved the problem as follows:
When the ad appears, click in the bottom left to see all the applications.
Locate "Advertisement," which should be the last one.
Press and hold the left side of the taskbar "Advertisement."
The offending application will appear.
Now you know which one it is and can uninstall it.
This worked for me.
Best regards.

Hello, I must be terrible... I can't understand how Addons work: how do I identify the "guilty" app? Thank you for your help!
