Hello,
Hello,
I’m reaching out for your insight because I don’t really understand what the “suggestions for you” are based on.
Let me explain quickly...
My partner and I have a shared Instagram account, and there’s something that concerns me...
Regularly, when I go to the search page, in the “suggestions FOR YOU” tab, dozens of photos of sexy girls in bikinis, or even completely nude, appear. No matter how much I click on “see less of this kind of photo,” others show up the day after. We are not following that kind of profiles, could you please tell me why I keep seeing this kind of photos on my homepage and how to fix it... thank you

Hello,
Here is what we can find regarding Instagram's suggestion algorithm:
Sincerely,
Jordane
Here is what we can find regarding Instagram's suggestion algorithm:
Three factors define the order in which content appears.
First, the app uses "interests." This means that the algorithm is able to determine what you might like based on the time you spend on the photos you like and presents you with similar content.
Instagram then takes into account the "recency" of a post.
What's new rises to the top, unsurprisingly.
Finally, Instagram considers your "relationships." The more a user interacts with you, by mentioning or tagging you in a post, the higher their content will appear in your feed.
Other adjusting variables are also taken into account, such as how many times you log into the app, your number of follows, or the time spent on Instagram.
Sincerely,
Jordane
What seems obvious to everyone is not for those who are "in the thick of it"...
Indeed, if these photos come back, it's because the husband is looking... LOL
