Clear search shortcuts

Hello, let me explain. On Instagram, when I want to search for a page, as soon as I type the first letter, it shows me all the pages I have visited starting with that letter. I would like to erase this. I am on Android, I have tried to clear the app data but it hasn't changed anything.

    I tried it, it didn't work. I have an HTC One X Plus. Can it be done through a computer?
