Hello everyone,
I am a Windows 10 user. Yesterday, when I started my computer, I realized that it gets stuck on the welcome screen (with the time and the network connection icon).
I press space to log in, but it shows a black screen for 1 second before returning to the welcome screen (regardless of the key combination I use).
When I attempt to boot in safe mode, I get a black screen with my mouse icon showing that it is loading intermittently (blue circle - mouse - blue circle, etc...) but it never starts.
I tried restoring to an earlier point, but it didn’t work (error). So, I used the Windows recovery tool while keeping my documents, but nothing helps; I’m still stuck on this darn welcome page...
Thank you in advance for your help and have a good day, everyone.

Hello,
Start with the advanced system recovery options using method 1 from this page: Windows Advanced Recovery Options.
The idea is to restart on the page where it asks for the password, with the icon in the bottom right while holding the shift key.
If you do NOT reach the window where Windows asks for passwords, because of a blockage or crash beforehand...
Turn off the computer twice during the Windows loading.
It will enter repair mode, which will also provide access to the advanced system recovery options.
(If starting on the advanced recovery options is impossible, you need to create a bootable USB drive, you have a link on the previous page for that).
From Troubleshoot you can then try:
Also try creating a new administrator user to see if it works better there.
As a last resort:

From Troubleshoot you can then try:
- From the settings menu, restart Windows and go into safe mode, from there you can uninstall a problematic application like your antivirus.
Also try creating a new administrator user to see if it works better there.
As a last resort:
- launch a system restore to revert to a previous Windows configuration
- Reset Windows 10 (this keeps your data but removes applications).
