Screen stuck on the opening image

Question

Hello,
I have a HP desktop PC and whenever my device goes to sleep, when I want to use it, it gets stuck on the opening screen. No matter how much I click, I always return to that screen; I have to force it to shut down and restart. This problem is really recurring.
If anyone can help me find a solution?

If you reach the window asking for the password...
DO NOT enter it and restart to the advanced recovery options using method 1, see: Windows 10 system recovery options.

From there, try to perform a system restore.

I reach the password window but I don’t type it; I click and I keep falling back on my image indefinitely. I have already restored the system and all my programs have been overwritten. I had a technician come by; he knows this problem but he has no solution.

I think I had the same problem a while ago!
Do you have an HP Pavilion?
My son-in-law unlocked it by removing the battery, the power supply, and holding down the power button for 1 minute. After that, you can turn it back on normally. As soon as you get to the password page, if you can’t enter your password, press esc several times.
If you still can’t log into your account, try restarting it by turning it off and on again + esc, until you succeed (be careful if you have fingerprint recognition on your computer, do not use it!
I work on Windows 10!
This problem is likely due to a recent update!

After that, you can do the following, but note that your computer will no longer ask you for your password; it will start up by itself, so anyone around you can turn it on!
But this is reversible!

Enable/disable logon password

1: Press the "Windows" and "R" keys simultaneously

The "Run" window opens

2: Type "netplwiz" then click "OK"

The "User Accounts" window opens

If the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" is not checked (which means no need to enter a password to unlock the account, and vice versa if the box is checked), check it and then click "Apply"
The "Automatically sign in" window opens

Enter your password and confirm it (the one normally used to unlock the account) then click "OK"

3: Click "OK" on the "User Accounts" window (which reappears)

There you go, it’s done…
