HP Laptop. Keyboard Locked and BIOS

Question

Hello. I have an HP laptop. Since yesterday, I can't use the keyboard keys, and upon restarting, the screen displays the BIOS menu, which I don’t understand at all. Who could help me clarify all this? Thank you very much in advance. Linda.

Thank you very much, Billmaxime. The main screen has returned upon startup. I am now facing the second problem: the keyboard. Some keys are unresponsive, so I can't enter my password...

Hello  upon reboot, the screen displays the BIOS menu which I don’t understand at all  when you’re in the BIOS, go to the BOOT tab and set the hard drive to "first boot/1st boot"  save the changes with F10 and Y (for yes)  the PC should restart from the HDD  see you  -- the radiation level is higher at unemployment office than at Chernobyl

is the issue with the keyboard from yesterday?

if that's the case, perform a system restore to a date before your problem

to do this:

close all your open programs

press the Windows+R keys

in the window that opens, type RSTRUI and click OK

the system restore will open, choose a restore point from before your issue and execute it
