Hello,
I would like to restore an HP computer to its factory state without the CD.
My HP Compaq 6510b computer.
I looked at the tutorial for HP on the website, but it tells me to press F11 at startup to access recovery, and that doesn't work. Could you please let me know what to do?

Try: turn on the PC and then press the escape key when the message Press the esc key for Startup Menu appears at the bottom, press the F11 key (Press F11 for recovery) to restore, which should also be displayed on the screen.
This loading takes several minutes.
Click on System Restore in Recovery Manager and follow the on-screen instructions and see.

Yes, I have this problem when I turn on the PC, the F11 key activates in the bottom left but then returns to normal, and I don't have the recovery option appearing.

For me, I followed the given instructions and it works.
