SMTP expired on some messages

Hello everyone,
I am using the latest version of Thunderbird with the Mail Redirect add-on, which allows me to forward messages to specific people.
With a few messages (about 5%), I get the following message:

The message sending failed.
The message could not be sent because the connection to the outgoing server (SMTP) "smtp.orange.fr" timed out. Please try again.

This never happens when I send a message in the usual way. Similarly, I work around the problem by using "Forward" instead of "Redirect," but then the redirect function loses its usefulness. And even in that case, I still have a few emails (rare, but it happens) that do not go out.

I've seen some forums talking about antivirus and/or firewalls, but I'm a bit lost.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Sébastien

Hi,

To start: avoid the latest version of TDB, which is a flawed version.
Then, it is in no way related to your antivirus or your firewall.
Restart TDB to see if it happens again (it can sometimes be temporary with all these servers.....)
