How to download PDF books

Hello,

For downloading books, there are 3 solutions:

• you download books that are in the public domain: nothing to pay. For example, in Google Books by selecting "Free eBooks" in the advanced options:
• you buy eBooks: there are many websites: amazon, fnac, etc.
• you look for illegal productions: increasingly difficult to find, often of poor quality, with all the risks associated with questionable sites.

Books are available in several formats: doc, epub, pdf.

There are other sites; you have to make an effort to search.

And for reading, the possibilities are multiple:
For pdfs, you can use the default pdf reader on your computer. You can also use a dedicated program for reading eBooks, like Calibre.
On tablet, I use FBReader.
