Video export failure with Videopad

Hello,

I am using Windows 10 and I purchased the license for Videopad to create high-quality video edits; however, I am encountering a major problem.

I am making a video with several sequences accelerated to over 200% and others slowed down to 60% in the same project, but during export, it fails. Could it be due to the variable speed causing the software to struggle?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hello, check your project if it goes well...
If so, it is possible that your PC is lacking in memory resources and processor frequency

Thanks for the info, my PC still has 16 GB of RAM, with an i5 core, and yes, the project plays fine, it’s only during export that the failure rears its head, and to make matters worse, even the project that I give a title and a destination folder to, doesn’t want to save in it, claiming it's "not found" even though I’m creating the project in question, what a joke!!!!!

I made a small edit with some photos of the text and a soundtrack two days ago and had no export issues.

Thanks anyway, have you encountered the same type of problem?

Hello, okay, 16 GB of RAM is good, an i5 is fine, but to reassure me, what model and frequency should I look for, as there are i5 processors for office work?
What is the configuration of your project regarding export format, definition, and im/s?
I suggest deleting the "auxiliary files" in your software; they will regenerate upon restart.
You could ease the load on the PC by splitting your project into two to finalize them and then putting them back on the timeline for finalization.

Hello,

I don't think the software is to blame because I just tested it with the free version (6.10) in English, on a project consisting of 9 various video files ranging from SD to UHD (I'm removing the sound), alternating between x200 and x60, and lasting about 1h23, and I managed to export it in 1280x720 in WMV (Windows Movie Video 9 codec), 25 FPS, at 15 Mbps bitrate. The encoding took me about 1h10.
With a bitrate half as low, I only gain 20 minutes in encoding.

So as glandu said, it probably comes from your machine... which may not be capable of handling the type of files you want to process.
Give more details as glandu requests.

However, this does not explain why you cannot save the project/export to the directory of your choice.
My advice is not to give a too long name or a too complicated path, but that's just a suggestion.

Best regards
PS: the free version has limitations such as exporting to AVI and WMV... so no MP4 container for me apparently...
