Suspended Pinterest accounts!!

Hello everyone. I'm addressing Pinterest users here (or those who know users)
Since the very last update of Pinterest, a lot of accounts have been suspended, including mine.
Pinterest is really a great app; I use it to look for photos (a few tips too, but mostly for the photos) and I've been using this app for a year and a half. I've spent hours and hours collecting thousands of photos! I refuse to lose everything just like that because Pinterest decided so (or simply because their update messed up)
I emailed Pinterest on the morning of the 23rd but still haven't received any response (and I also left a comment on the Google Play Store)
Have you also found yourselves in this situation? If so, were you able to recover your account and how did you do it? Or simply, do you still have your account?
Honestly, I really don’t want to redo all my boards, pins, and subscriptions that I’ve researched over the past year and a half. All this content is SUPER IMPORTANT to me!
I really hope everything will be restored in the next update; otherwise, Pinterest will lose its most loyal users...

Hello,
if it has been suspended, it's because your account is against Pinterest's terms, which also states:

"We reserve the right to remove or modify user content, or to change the way it is used on Pinterest, for any reason. This rule applies to user content that we believe violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or any other policies."

Hello everyone;

For your information, Pinterest apparently hasn't deleted any accounts..
I just logged in with my credentials + age + selected 5 preferences and everything is fine.
The homepage seems to have been changed? Subject to confirmation because I rarely check on my end, but despite that my account is still open, I just confirmed my email address which hadn’t even been changed!

My account has been suspended too, I tried to reconnect on the website AND on the app but nothing works. Besides, where is that famous email? I went to the Pinterest help page and tried to change my email settings (you never know...) and it brought me back to the login page. Also, about two months ago, a message popped up on my account asking to confirm my age by sending an email, so I entered my email address and then, surprise... "It doesn't look like an email address..." said the message! So here it is, but I want to say that my account has been blocked for at least two weeks.

I contacted Pinterest by email and they told me it's because I hadn't confirmed my age.
They asked for my parents' email address so they could approve access to the app.
So there you go, that’s it.

My account has also been suspended; I haven't done anything to deserve this. I'm of the right age, I'm an adult, I'm 45 years old. I wasn't bothering anyone or talking to anyone, but starting today, my Pinterest account has been suspended. I'm fed up with social networks that allow this nowadays. That was my rant because I haven't done anything that goes against their damn rules.

Hello, I found myself in the same situation as you with my Pinterest account suspended this morning. I managed to solve the problem by contacting Pinterest via Facebook (through a private Messenger message, the team managing Pinterest's Facebook account is French). You just have to explain your issue to them, and they will respond very quickly (in about 10 minutes). For my part, they were incredibly helpful and will be able to advise you and resolve the issue you have. I hope this helps you regain your account. Have a great day.

Hello, I am also in the same situation... hours and hours wasted without any formality on their part. I sent an email as well but it’s going in circles. There is no way to be heard. Honestly, I am very disappointed. If you have any idea, I am all ears. It’s certainly not because of my age... I am 53 years old.

For me, to recover my account I went to:

And after completing everything and sending it, I received an automatic message. I replied to this message explaining my problem again and then they replied saying that a member of their team would respond to my message and that I should be patient. But I received no response from them... So, I started sending them lots of messages and everything until a member of their team helped me recover it.
Be careful because if you don't act quickly they may no longer be able to reactivate your account... but in my case, it was them who were too slow... that's why you have to persevere as Flavie says. Good luck!

Hello, my account was also suspended for reasons I don't understand. Apparently, they sent me an email to explain, but the content didn't mention those reasons. My account was suspended just after the update, and I also think there were issues with it because I'm not the only one.

They are against spam; if we register or share more than 30 photos in 1 hour, they suspend our account.
