Hello,

my decoder is stuck with the message on the screen Fi t: what does that mean; when I turn it on, it displays boot then scan and goes to a transponder to search for channels, at the end of the search on the TV, I see the message "channels not found due to lack of information" then the decoder shows Fit. Thank you for giving me some clarifications: it has been 8 days that I have been trying and nothing happens. The dish is properly oriented to Astra 19. When I start the searches, the TV screen shows mobile TV, tnt sat hdmi then "no signal." I manage well with computers but here can you explain to me in non-technical terms what to do thank you. Canal sat I contacted does not know this decoder yet it is the latest generation. My motorhome dealer is overwhelmed and cannot see me currently.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 60.0

Hello,
Are you 100% sure that your dish is properly pointed at 19.2° East?
"Canal Sat that I contacted claims to not know this decoder"
They're talking nonsense...;-(

I call a spade a spade *

I think you can find that kind of information about a neighboring satellite...
To verify, use this site:
https://www.dishpointer.com/
-Enter your complete address
-Choose 19.2° East (Astra) from the list
-Click on "Go!" next to your address,
-Zoom in on the map with the + button to pinpoint your house
-Place the target at the location of your satellite dish and use a landmark (tree, house) to orient yourself, first in direction then in elevation.
At the bottom right of the map, you'll find the elevation, azimuth, and rotation direction in degrees of the dish in its mounting (polarization adjustment), the last line "LNB Skew" is very important.
Also use the bar graphs from the decoder by communicating with someone in front of the screen by phone to refine the setting, which should ideally be done with a satellite pointer.
Good evening and see you tomorrow because I have an absolute emergency: the aperitif...;)

Thank you, Andy, I will try that tomorrow; I will keep you updated. Enjoy your aperitif and have a good evening. I also think it might be the head of the parabola because it is well oriented.

Good evening Andy,
I don't want to disturb you during your evening but I want to clarify that the graph I'm talking about is on the pointer of the parabola, which is why I think the parabola is well oriented. Thank you Andy.

Good evening Andy,
Earlier I went on the dishpointer site that you suggested: I had the pleasure of seeing my house and I pinpointed where the motorhome and the satellite dish are located, which gave me the following figures:
elevation 26°9 - true azimuth 139°7 - magnetic azimuth 141°2 - satellite data 2E Astra - LNB Skew: - 18.2°
After that, I don’t know what to do with these numbers: my husband couldn’t go do any adjustments in the motorhome as he is allergic to everything related to computers and setting up the TV. Tomorrow I will try to contact SERVIMAT by phone because I saw on a forum that someone had an online technician guide them. Thank you very much Andy.
