Hello,
I have a 16 GB micro SD card that I was using in my Samsung J7 (6) running Android 7.0 (Nougat). A few months ago, I had to change my phone.
I transferred all my data to my new phone (including the SD card) and reinstalled the applications.
I noticed a little later that the photos and videos I captured with the phone's camera were not being saved on the card in question (sometimes they are saved but unreadable).
Fearing for my data, I hurried to copy them to my Macbook Pro running version 10.10.5 Yosemite. I was able to copy my data, but when checking the removable media's information, I discovered that the card is read-only and this function cannot be unlocked from this menu. And it is not a hardware lock on the SD adapter as I have tried several times to move the "lock" of the adapter and tried to read it again.
My goal is simply to format it, but I am unable to do so.
I also tried to diagnose the card in "Disk Utility" but still nothing.
Thank you for your help.
