Hello,

I recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, and I have a problem: I cannot modify any documents on my memory card; it seems that my phone reads my memory card as read-only... I have been using this memory card for years and this is the first time I am encountering this issue... I am reaching out to see how I can resolve this problem, as I have not found any solutions despite extensive research!!!Configuration: iPhone / Chrome 29.0.1547.72

    Good evening,

I'm afraid there's no solution; your card, a micro-SD, has become "read only" (write protection) due to an electronic failure (too quick removal?? or "end of life" (flash memory wear)).

    See you!

Thank you very much for the information! I'm relieved that it doesn't come from the phone!! Thank you for the information.

      Hello,
I'm facing the same problem with my S3 mini, and if that's the case, I don't know how to add my music or retrieve my photos on my computer... Is it really not possible to remove the protection?!

It will be more complicated to repair the Micro-SD card, you need to open the case ... etc ... etc ...

Changing it will be safer and cheaper, given the price of these cards right now.

As for the S mini, to back up photos to a PC, it's another "problem", you just need to use the connection utility from SAMSUNG: PC Studio or New PC Studio.

P.S.: BUT normally you should create a personal topic to ask these questions.
