How to read my mobile's SD card on my computer?
Hello,
I want to copy the photos from the mobile's SD card to the computer, but I only have about twenty photos while in "Gallery" I have around 250 photos.
Please let me know the procedure to follow to copy only from the SD card.
Best regards.
Computer: HP - System: Windows 7

Hello
What model is your Samsung? If you're on Android, then you need to connect in MTP - FILE TRANSFER mode. Then you can find photos in your internal memory in the DCIM folder or on your microSD. You can see this by going through your Windows Explorer... but since we don't have any details for now, follow this initial advice. And your manual is available on the Samsung website.

Thank you for your reply.
The model of my mobile: Wiko Cink Peax running Android.
I am connecting in MTP FILE TRANSFER mode (sorry but I don’t know what that means?)
I went to the Wiko Cink Peax website, but I couldn’t find out how to do it, I have good intentions but I’m clueless!
If I remove the SD card, what happens? Does it erase it?
Thanks again for your help.
so try this, connect your phone to the PC. then on your phone, at the top, you tap or swipe down and choose to connect in MTP mode or file transfer. if your phone is recognized, then use your Windows Explorer just like you would with a USB stick or external hard drive to copy and paste either to your internal memory in the DCIM folder or to your microSD card. and I mean copy and paste, and don't try transferring because with some smartphones it goes wrong and you lose everything.
Thank you very much for your interest in my issue.
I’m following up on this today; it concerns reading my Wiko Cink Peax smartphone on my computer to copy photos.
You mentioned a "real USB/data cable," what is that?
I am using the download cable provided with the Wiko.
Thanks again and best regards.
