IMessage distributed - Read practical question

Hello,

I have a little question regarding iMessages. Does the "Read at..." notification remain displayed if a person deletes the conversation or blocks you?

While browsing different forums, I know that if we are blocked, our message remains delivered and is sent as an SMS, but in my case, the message was read and still shows the "Read" notification, but I still have the question.

    Hello SIRIAP, if the mention READ appears, it means that your correspondent has indeed read your message (iMessage) and that you are not blocked by your correspondent.

      Hi Fred,
      Thank you for your confirmation, it's what I thought.
      And if for example my message "Read" becomes "Delivered," does that mean the person has deleted the conversation or blocked me?

      If "Delivered" appears, you can't really tell; either the iMessage hasn't been read or your contact has blocked you. If they have blocked you, they haven't received your iMessage ( "Delivered" will still show up on your iPhone).
