How to print without the black cartridge?

Hi

I have a color printer (Epson) and my black ink cartridge is almost empty, but the other color cartridges are fairly full.

Do you know if I can force the printer to print (a PDF text document) using the blue ink cartridge instead of the black ink cartridge??

First of all, is it possible to do this with a program that would manage it, or if that's not possible, can I physically swap the blue ink cartridge to the compartment meant for the black one? Just removing it risks a big ink spill, doesn't it?

Ideally, it would be great if a software solution exists.

Thanks

Once the printer is connected to your computer, click on the "printer" icon in your PDF. Go to "properties" next to the name of your printer. Click on "maintenance" and then "ink cartridge settings."
It works for me, I have a Canon. I don't know if this works for all printers. However, the color seems black to me as if I printed it with my black cartridge, maybe just a bit lighter. So in the end, it's cool!

I can't find maintenance when I'm in the properties.
