Incorrect delivery address for package

Hello,
My girlfriend just ordered a package online, but the website only recorded her name, postal code, and city, without any address or street number.
She sent an email to ask them to change the address, but since the package has already shipped, they cannot guarantee the address change.
What will happen to her package?
If her package never arrives at our place, can we retrieve it?
If we never receive it, what can we do?
Knowing that the website sends a package to an address without a street name or number seems completely ridiculous to me.

It should be returned to the sender if they have indicated their address.
But non-deliveries are not processed immediately; this can take several days or even weeks... (if it doesn't disappear magically...!)
There are cases where the street name does not exist (such as place names) or where the recipient is so well-known that an address is not necessary (for example, a company).
