Hello everyone,
I’m presenting my little problem. I have a computer, a Dell without a hard drive that was totally formatted (taken back by my brother at work where they don’t joke around when they refresh the hardware). I’m trying to put it back together for my mother so she has a PC for doing small things (online selling etc... nothing fancy).

I have a Windows 10 installation CD with key and everything. When I start the installation, the PC can’t find the hard drive (I put a new one). It shows up at the beginning, then in the middle of the installation it fails telling me the hard drive is not found.

thanks for your insights and have a good day.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 63.0.3239.84

Hello,

It appears at the beginning > at which step do you see it?

then in the middle of the installation it crashes > at which step does it crash?

telling me that the hard drive is not found. > the message should be more precise, right?

And which PC can also be used?
Also, how to know if your disk is recognized in the BIOS?

Afterwards it will be easier to help you ;-)
