Wondershare Data Recovery does not detect external drive

Hello, I'm using Wondershare Data Recovery software to recover data from a damaged internal hard drive connected via a SATA adapter, but the problem is that the software does not detect the device.
What can I do to make it detect it?

Is the hard drive recognized by the PC in the first place?

If it's not detected by your PC, try connecting it to another machine.

If it's the same, the drive is dead and you won't be able to recover anything at all.
