EASEUS Data Recovery: Hard Drive Scan

Hello,

I just downloaded the free version of EaseUs Data Recovery to recover data from a hard drive.
The scan started automatically, and a lot of files are being found gradually. The problem is that the remaining time displayed at the bottom keeps resetting to 2h32, even if it sometimes decreases by a minute or two, and this has been the case for hours. (yet new files are being found)
Is this normal? Is it worth continuing like this?
If so, can I save the analysis that has already been done and continue it later?

Furthermore, I have a 1TB hard drive to scan, so quite a bit of data to recover, and I will have to pay for the license regardless. Should I then restart the scan after making the payment?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello,
with the free version, you can only recover 2GB of data.
I think you'll need to restart the scan if you purchase the software.
But there are plenty of free alternatives like Recuva.
And it's normal for the scan to be long, even very long.
