Hello everyone,
My name is Clément,
I made the happy acquisition of a "Mitsubishi automatic return turntable LT-703" in good condition at a flea market.
As a music enthusiast but not a connoisseur of this type of equipment, I wonder if I know how to use it properly.
Indeed, after cleaning it, I tried to get it to work in vain. Moving the arm does nothing...
What voltage should I set it to, based on its base?
Can I operate it without a hi-fi system?
What does the cable wrapped around the red and white ones correspond to?
Is it possible that a problem is preventing it from functioning correctly?
Thank you in advance for your advice.
Best regards

The wrapped wire is the mass that you connect to the mixing table
to make it work you need an amplifier or hi-fi system and for the power supply it's usually 220 (it's marked on the back) -
After checking the transformer for the power supply, it should be 12. Also, verify that the belt is present and in good condition.

Thank you Docsteph for your response,
The thing is that the turntable is not supposed to rotate even without a hi-fi or sound system, right?
