Hello,
As mentioned in the title, I have a continuous humming in my speakers whether the volume is high or low.
I tried connecting my speakers to my old PC to see if the issue was with them, but the problem persists regardless.
Here is my setup:
Motherboard P5NT WS
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Graphics Card BFG Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT OC2
2x1Go Corsair Memory
Power Supply Antec True power quattro 850W
Case Antec P182
Windows XP with all service packs including SP3.
If anyone knows where the problem might be coming from, it would help me a lot.
P.S.: I should add that the sound driver is up to date.

Don't stress out by rebooting your PC, the problem doesn't come from there.
Steps to follow:
-Control Panel
-Sound
Click on Speaker, then click on Configure at the bottom left
Click on Quadraphonic, click Next, click Next, click Finish, and finally click OK.
There you go.
(A thank you is always appreciated). Headless Chiken
