Hello,
Windows 7 64-bit
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 55.0
For the past three or four days, I can no longer watch certain videos on Firefox, while I can watch them on Chrome.
I get the message: your browser does not support any of the available formats
when I click on the link it states "What features is this browser compatible with?" in red the formats that do not work: H.264 and WebM VP8
As I was asked to update Adobe Flash Player for some of these videos, I did so and I even tried several times because it has no effect.
I searched for an answer on your site and others, and all of them date back to 2012 or even earlier and I found nothing that works.
By the way, I also noticed that Firefox often crashes.
So I don’t know what to do anymore
Thank you for your help!

Click on Repair Firefox.
What does the repair feature do?
All your Firefox settings and personal information are stored in a profile folder. The reset works by creating a new profile folder for you, while keeping your essential data.
Extensions and themes normally stored within the Firefox profile folder will be removed. Add-ons stored in other locations, such as plugins, will not be removed, but all modified preferences (such as the plugins you have disabled) will be reset.
Firefox will save the following items:
your bookmarks
your browsing history
your passwords
your open windows, tabs, and tab groups
your cookies
your auto-filled web form information
your personal dictionary
The following items and settings will be removed:
Add-ons and themes, website permissions, modified preferences, added search engines, download history, DOM storage, security settings for certificates and devices, download preferences, plugin settings, toolbar customizations, user styles, and social network settings will be removed.
Note: your old Firefox profile is backed up on your desktop in a folder named "Old Firefox Data." If the repair doesn't resolve your issue, you can restore some of the unsaved information by copying the files into the newly created profile. If you no longer need this folder, it is better to delete it as it contains sensitive information.

But I can't find anywhere on my desktop a folder called “Old Firefox Data”, it's annoying, where could it have gone, it's strange?!
