Hello,

I want to clean the printheads of my printer and I would like to know if the solvent I have is safe for the printheads.

I have 96% alcohol (no problem) with camphor and tartrazine (E102).

Camphor: reading the description, it seems questionable to me, I also read that acetone, which is also a ketone, should be avoided. Given the quantity, I'm not too sure. https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camphre

Tartrazine: it's a food coloring, which also seems questionable https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartrazine

Thanks for your opinions.

Good evening.

-Deionized water: very good, doesn't attack anything and dilutes the ink well, without risk.

Thank you, I will give this a try :)
I hope it will dilute the very dry ink well.
