Permanent subtitles on LG TV 43UJ635V UHD

Hello,
I just bought an LG 43UJ635V UHD TV.
It works very well except that the subtitles appear all the time!
No matter how many settings I adjust (general and for each channel), they come back every time I turn the TV back on.
There's nothing specific about this in the manual.
Does anyone know how to permanently turn them off?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Best regards

Good evening and welcome,
Did you press the "subtitles" button on top of the remote?

Hello Andy31200,
Yes, that's what I started doing, along with the steps indicated by Baladur13. It works at first, but every time I turn off the TV and turn it back on (and sometimes even if I change the channel), everything has to be reset...
In fact, it's the permanent cancellation of the subtitles that I can't seem to maintain.
While it works for the other settings.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
Try disconnecting everything, HDMI cables, antenna, and power plug, wait five minutes and then reconnect.
If that doesn't work and if you have access to the menu, perform a "reset" or "factory reset" or "initial setup" (see menu) but you will have to redo the entire installation and settings.
