Hello. For several months now, my iPhone 5s has been impossible to transport; if I unplug it, it shuts down, even if the battery is fully charged. This has been going on for a long time, and I don't understand why. In the summer of 2016, I dropped it, and the screen stopped responding, so I had it repaired. I think this is due to that fall because it was working perfectly before. But I'm afraid it might not be repairable this time. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

If your iPhone is up to date, it's impossible for there to be spyware inside it given the level of security of iOS, I would rather think it's a hardware issue or related to the battery percentage calibration.
Do this:
Press the power and home buttons at the same time until the iPhone turns off and release only when you see the Apple logo.
If that doesn't work, connect your iPhone to iTunes, back up your data, and restore it.
If after that nothing changes, call Apple to get the battery replaced if it's still under warranty.
