Hello,
I can't seem to start my computer anymore; it fails to boot on the blue screen with the error message system service exception, and I've found that it's due to the corrupted system file dxgkrnl. None of the Windows repair options work, not even safe mode...
I only have access to the command prompt. I ran a checkdisk, no issues, and an sfc/scannow; it scans up to 100% then the same system error occurs, so I'm not any further ahead...
Could someone experienced help me? I think I need to use the command prompt, but I'm not very familiar with the commands...
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Android / Chrome 58.0.3029.83

Hi,
It's often related to the graphics card driver.
Does even resetting not work?

Yes, the same thing, it starts and then stops at 30% with an error... of course, there is no previous backup to reset or installation CD... (this is not my computer)
thank you
thank you
From another computer:
- Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10
- Prepare an installation media on a USB drive or DVD. It's better to use Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a Windows installation USB drive
On the "sick" computer:
- Boot from it by changing the boot sequence and selecting the USB drive or DVD
- Go to repair your computer
- Advanced options
and reset Windows.
If it gets stuck or is impossible.
Restart again from the USB drive or DVD.
