Hello everyone,
I have a recurring problem with a Lenovo laptop (less than 2 years old) running Windows 10 (64 bit).
Sometimes during a startup or restart, I get a blue screen (of death, should I specify) with the message: System Error Exception, and the mention of the "failed" file: ndis.sys.
After that, I make X attempts to restart, without success. The error message sometimes changes: "Kernel Security Check Failure" or "page fault in non-paged area," or something else... (but the most frequent is "ndis.sys").
The computer restarts in a loop with this blue screen, then offers me troubleshooting tools. (I can use it in safe mode with network support.)
And most of the time, the next day or after XX attempts, it works again, until the next time.
I encounter this problem almost every 10-15 days, it's variable...
One thing I seem to have noticed: when my internet connection is unstable or has been interrupted (due to a power outage, or if I had to restart the modem, router, etc... it's often at that moment that the problem occurs.) By the way, to resolve it, I plug the RJ-45 cable directly from the router; it seems to help, but that's not certain.
As if the computer needs a connection to start up properly, or something like that.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hi,

Check if there are any updates for the Wifi drivers available
if you have an antivirus like Avast!, uninstall it as well to test.
