Unable to send and receive emails in Windows Live Mail? Solved

Question

Hello, I receive documents from quite a few correspondents and these documents automatically open in Windows Live Mail, even though I receive them on @Outlook.fr or on bbox.fr - However, I can no longer send or receive documents in WLM... So, in summary, is WLM only used to open documents sent by people who use it.....??? Can we restore the sending and receiving function of WLM?? Thank you for your help Best regards Yvon02

@pingouinormand, thanks for the link.... I still receive quite a few emails with links that will only open on wlm. So, many people are still able to send emails with WLM. And I can only open them there to read?? Best regards Yvon02

Hello I also had problems with WLM, even though it worked well for years. We know that WLM is no longer supported by Microsoft. So I looked for a replacement. It's "eM Client". It's perfect. Good luck. JPM

@jpm06200, thank you for the answer. It is still strange this problem with WLM that we continue to receive emails which, as soon as we click on them, open directly in WLM. So some people are still able to use it? It is not an essential need to be able to send with WLM since I already have my webmail with my internet service provider, plus Outlook, but mainly the need to understand why?
