Access to the program is prohibited by the operator.

Hello,

I have a Fransat decoder from March 2015. So far, no problem. At noon, I still had the information without any issue, then I turned off the TV.

In the afternoon, I wanted to watch a program and oh surprise: access to the program is forbidden by the operator! But which operator?

This probably has nothing to do with it, but I had just installed the equipment from our new ISP.

I say it has nothing to do with it because we don’t have TV through the ISP, being in a non-unbundled area; we have the box for internet, landline and that’s it. I called them, and they confirmed that they have nothing to do with it since I don’t have TV through their box...

Could someone help me?

In the meantime, I’m going to check my installation...

    Hello,

generally doing a "quick channel reinstall" (in the menu)

    solves the problem.

    Hello.

My grandmother has exactly the same problem as you. Since noon.
I think I will call Fransat tomorrow.
But if you have any ideas, I’m all ears.

It's the same for me since this noon, I've had no programming, it's forbidden, I'm connected via satellite. In Germany, everything was fine until this noon.

    Hello,
Same for me, access to the channels has been blocked by the operator since noon. There are apparently several of us.... I had specifically set up a satellite dish to catch TNT under all circumstances, and here’s the result...
Let’s wait and see what happens; I’m thinking it might be an issue with the card or a bad update of the rights from Fransat that affects some of the cards.
Have a good end of the day nonetheless.

    Hello,
I have exactly the same problem in Algeria. It seems to be a widespread technical issue since it occurs in several places. Keep us posted, thank you.

Hello, I have the same issue with my Fransat decoder, it says access to this program is restricted by the operator. I have tried resetting the channels, but nothing works.

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem since this afternoon: "access to this video has been denied by the operator" on all channels, reset, re-scanning for channels, updates, nothing works!

    Has anyone found a solution?

    Hello everyone,
Oh, I feel less alone... I'm completely lost when it comes to technology...
I have a HUMAX TNT8000HD box in which I inserted a new TNT SAT 6 VIACCESS card on April 22, 2017, and for the past few days, the infamous message "access to this program has been forbidden by the operator" has been showing up on all channels except 5 (BFM, LCI, TV5MONDE, FRANCE24, etc...) very frustrating to see that nothing has changed, neither by resetting to factory settings nor by doing numerous channel searches (manual, automatic, etc...)

In advance, I thank the savior who will communicate THE solution to us!
If it's an update as some think, then how many days could it last?

    Have a nice day everyone.

Fransat indicates that you should leave your decoder on TF1 for 30 to 40 minutes, and everything should return to normal.

After contacting them, I received this email from Fransat yesterday:

    Dear customer,
Like other FRANSAT users since May 11th, you have reported the following incident: "Access denied by the operator" on your FRANSAT access card.
After investigation, our technical teams have managed to identify the defect and detected an anomaly at the access control level. A fix was implemented on Thursday, May 11th at 8:00 PM.
Here are the steps to resolve the issue:
    - Turn on your decoder.

    - Leave channel TF1 on for about 30 to 40 minutes.
This will allow you to enjoy all your channels again.
We are aware of the inconvenience caused and have already taken all measures to ensure this type of incident does not happen again.
To receive more comprehensive technical support from one of our FRANSAT advisors, we invite you to contact us:
    - By calling "32 60" and then saying FRANSAT, from Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM (€0.15/min + call cost),
    - Or request a free callback by clicking on "request a callback" from your FRANSAT user account.
The entire FRANSAT team thanks you for your trust and is at your disposal for any further information.
    Best regards,
    The FRANSAT team
If it doesn't work at your place, I think you'll have to contact Fransat to resolve your problem.
    Good luck.
