Displaying Encrypted Program on GRUNDIG TV

Hello, hello,

I just bought a new television for installation in a bedroom, and we got a GRUNDIG 32 VLE 5720 BN television with a CI+ 1.3 module from CGV Fransat compatible with the TV to receive all TNT channels. However, after installing the channels, the message "program encrypted" appears, resulting in a black screen for all TNT channels. The signal is at 71% and the quality at 40%. On the other hand, we do receive some channels: KTO, Berbere Jeunesse, Berbere TV, Berbere Music, FRANSAT 0. What is the issue? Knowing that we have other TVs and there are no reception problems…

    Hello and welcome to the forum,

    40% quality...not great, check the dish alignment and the cross-polarization settings.
    But are you receiving the channels in clear...is the card inserted the right way?

    Are you sure about its validity? Does it work elsewhere?

      Hello Andy, how can I tell if the card is up to date? I bought it at the same time as the TV at Leclerc.

      the card is in the right direction because otherwise I get the message card CI not inserted, I called FRANSAT who told me that the TV was compatible and that there was no problem with the card which I thought and according to them I need to call Grundig to check with them...

      For the update, it concerned the PC5 generation cards and mine is PC6, so I think it is up to date; however, the message on all the TNT channels says 'encrypted program' on a black background.
