No access to new TNT channels via Numéricable cable.

Hello,
I live in a social housing managed by RIVP (Paris) which requires us to use cable (included in the charges). Personally, I wouldn't mind if the access to Numéricable channels was complete. It wasn't the case before, but since the addition of several new free channels via TNT, I don't have access to those either. Is that normal? It is not a problem with my television, which has adapted to the other channels added via TNT. Do you have any idea how to resolve this issue? Lastly, what are the new channels available for free via TNT?
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards.

    Hello
A Google search would have been welcome

Please contact the operator mentioned in your text

      Good evening Gaston.
Thank you for this prompt response which allows me to know all the channels accessible via TNT HD. As for finding the operator I'm interested in, Numéricable, I haven't been able to do so since the provided link refers to TNT SAT. So no search for other possible operators. Thank you for the advertisement, but I didn't need it.
      Best regards

    Good evening,
What are the references (Brand and model) of your television (see the label on the back).

The 26 free channels of TNT are (excerpt from https://www.csa.fr/Informer/Comment-recevoir-la-television-et-la-radio/Comment-regarder-la-television )
    • 8 national public channels

France 2, France 3 (the channel also offers regional and local programs), France 4
France 5, France Ô, La Chaîne parlementaire (LCP-National Assembly and Public Senate) and Arte
    • 18 free national private channels

    TF1, M6, W9, NT1, D8, BFM TV, I Télé, NRJ 12, TMC, D17 and Gulli
    HD1, L’Équipe 21, 6Ter, Numéro 23, RMC Découverte, Chérie 25 and LCI

The only new one is LCI

Thank you for this feedback that helps me better understand the issue. However, Numéricable does not use the same channels as the public network, and it's really a hassle. Indeed, I couldn't find the list of Numéricable channels.
So I know which channels I should have access to and will ask the owner to resolve this problem since he is the contractor with Numéricable.
However, there was already an answer on this topic in the forum which, even though I don't understand all the technical terms, is very useful as well.
      Thank you very much anyway.

        Numéricable obligatorily broadcasts these channels.
Do you have a special decoder from Numéricable?
Still provide the details of your television.

No, I do not have a special Numericable decoder since it is a subscription made by the landlord.
That is why I will ask him to resolve this issue since I pay for this subscription in my charges and it is imposed on me.
      Best regards.

The recent television is compatible with MPEG4/satellite and cable.
It is indeed necessary to report the issue to the landlord and also to Numéricable.

Thank you very much for this in-depth investigation. I cannot contact Numericable directly as I am not the contractor (I have already tried). So I will just stick with the landlord. However, since they emphasize their ethics and I have several issues of dissatisfaction, this will allow me to address them all at once.
      Thank you anyway.
      Best regards

Hello, I have already done it. But as I specified in my initial question, I was no longer receiving all the channels I was entitled to before the switch to TNT HD.

Good evening, I am a technician. If you don't have all the channels, it means there's a problem with your installation, either a faulty cable, a TV socket that doesn't meet standards, or a filter on your cable regarding the Numericable issue on the landing. In the past, filters were used to block access to certain channels; some subscribers still have them. I often have to remove them in Paris.

Hello and thank you for this important installation supplement. I will write to the landlord, and your responses will be very useful for arguing my request for intervention. At the same time, I will write to a tenants' association to support my approach. I shouldn't be the only one facing this difficulty, and I feel that if I act alone, it will go unanswered, as usual. If the landlord did not require me to pay for the Numericable subscription, I would have a different approach, but that is not the case.
      Have a good day.
