Hello everyone and thank you for your help.
I would like to change the RECORD TYPE of a document in Word and also modify the default settings of a document.
I don't know how to go about it, as when I looked for information on forums, I was told to go to the "format" menu of my document for that. But in my current Word, the word "format" does not appear in the home tab, so how should I proceed now?
Thank you very much for your help

Re:Lixette
For margins:
- Click on "Page Layout" and in the "Page Layout" section, left-click on the small arrow at the bottom right.
- Choose "margins"
- Make the desired adjustments
- At the bottom, click on "Default" +OK
Do the same for "layout"
For Paragraph (indentation and spacing)
- Click on "Page Layout" and in the section "Paragraph", left-click on the small arrow at the bottom right.
- Choose "Indentation and spacing"
- Make the desired adjustments
- At the bottom, click on "Default" +OK
Wishing you success and happy May 1st-
THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU Blue Fox.
These are exactly the details I was waiting for, and on top of that, your explanations are perfectly clear and precise. Well done.
It's a bit silly of me not to have looked there! But, well, I'm not very skilled!
Thanks again to you.

PS - after unsuccessful attempts yesterday (I had changed my email address), I finally managed to register on the forum; do you happen to know if it's possible to sign these anonymous posts afterwards, and if so, how can I do it? -
Bof! Blue fox, there's something I don't understand!
Yesterday, by closely following your advice, I was able to change the margins of my Word document without any problem and with ease: (by going, as you had indicated, to "PAGE LAYOUT" and then clicking on the little arrow at the bottom right, I chose "MARGINS" and after adjusting them as I wanted, I made sure to click on "SET AS DEFAULT")
But today, when trying to create a new document, I was surprised to see that the margins had returned to their original position!!! I thought I must have saved "AS DEFAULT" incorrectly, but not at all, this issue has occurred again with a third document!
Could you and someone else from the forum tell me where the problem comes from and how to fix it?
Thank you very much in advance.
